Epiphany Interfaith Ministry is Calling all Youth to help make Birthday Boxes for Foster Kids!
Many foster children never experience a birthday celebration. In April, during Global Youth Service month, we are collecting items to create a Birthday in a Box with all the necessary items for a Birthday party for a foster child. James Storehouse is a local non-profit that supports foster families and will be our designated charity to distribute the birthday boxes that we assemble to foster families with children in our community.
- Youth from Church of the Epiphany and local Oak Park youth from Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints will gather to assemble the birthday boxes on Wednesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the LDS Church in Oak Park, 6100 Doubletree Rd. in Oak Par.
- Youth who would like to participate please contact Laurie Burns at [email protected] or call (310) 948-1484.
- Sign up to participate or sign up to donate from the list of items needed at: Signupgenius.
