Member Appreciation Event:
Leeza Yorke, mezzo-soprano, and Robert Blake, piano
The exciting, engaging performer Leeza Yorke will offer a program of operatic arias, Broadway favorites, and moving spirituals for our Member Appreciation Event. Leeza’s notable past appearances have been with the Houston Grand Opera and the Cincinnati Opera (as well as playing the Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music.) Those who contributed to the EMG between August 1, 2025 and July 31, 2026 are automatically invited, and those who join the EMG before September 15, 2026 will receive invitations to this event and the festive reception that follows.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 4 PM
Elettaria
Elettaria, an ensemble of musicians playing period instruments, will present a program called “Venice, Virtuosity, and the Road North,” which will include music by Buxtehude and Vivaldi. Founding members Andrew Levi (recorder), Hejun Yang (harpsichord), and Robert Wang (lute/theorbo/baroque guitar) will be joined by additional musicians to present this exciting program.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13, 4 PM
An Advent Service of Lessons and Carols
This service tells a story of God’s work through history through scripture, anthems, and congregational song. It begins with the story of the fall of humanity, continues through the prophets assuring God’s people of God’s love and promising a coming Messiah, and concludes with the Annunciation and Mary’s joyful song of praise. Epiphany’s Parish Choir and Schola lead this service.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 17, 4 PM
East meets West (duduk and oud) and the Egon Duo (flute and guitar)
This fascinating program will feature the talents of two duos, each of which features a wind instrument and a plucked string instrument: East meets West, featuring traditional Armenian instruments [Jivan Gasparyan (duduk) and Andrew (Antranig) Kzirian (oud)] and the Egon Duo [Marley Eder (flute) and Mircea Gogoncea (guitar)]. From the unfamiliar to the familiar, this is a program like none we’ve experienced before!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 7 PM
Choral Compline
Compline is a contemplative and richly beautiful service that brings the day to a peaceful close. Liturgically and musically, Compline reached its apex during the Tudor era, when composers like Byrd and Tallis created music for Compline that has been described as “more divine than human.” Using glorious Tudor-era music, our service will be sung, entirely a cappella, by the Epiphany Schola.

Combined Epiphany Music Guild and Red Door Vineyard Wine Event: The Con Azul Quartet
Con Azul Quartet is a premier Los Angeles-based ensemble dedicated to the sophisticated fusion of classical precision and jazz spontaneity. Their reportoire bridges the gap between the concert hall and the jazz club. Comprised of Shannon Canchola (flute), Marco Apicella (piano), Igor Kogan (bass) and Marcelo Bucater (drums), their performance promises to be delightful.
A discounted suggested donation for admission of $10 is available for members of the EMG and the Red Door Vineyard; suggested donations for non-members are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $5 for students. A Service of Contemplation and Prayer in the Style of Taizé
Led by the Parish Choir, this quiet, meditative, and reflective service is patterned on the worship practices of the French monastic community at Taizé, which has drawn pilgrims from all countries and of all ages to its services. This service offers those present the opportunity to enter into a prayerful experience of God.
