Outreach Mission Statement
“In response to the grace and love we have been given in Christ, we seek to serve our neighbors. Our commitment is to provide opportunities for The Church of The Epiphany to reach out locally, nationally and globally so that we may grow, mature and become more fully the people Christ calls us to be. We pledge to be careful, open and willing stewards.”
On the second Tuesday of the month, Epiphany caters the LSS Meals & Shelter Program (formerly Conejo Valley Free Meal Program) at Calvary Community Church through Lutheran Social Services. This has seen a surge of families needing this program and currently over a hundred people line up to be served. We encourage you to be a part of this wonderful program by bringing food ready to be served and either stay to help serve or not; food needs to be delivered to Calvary between 6 and 6:15 p.m. Please call Elizabeth Bryant at (805) 498-4499 for more information. Thank you! We pledge to be careful, open and willing stewards.
The Church of the Epiphany supports the Conejo Compassion Coalition. Please click the following link to get to their website – http://conejocompassion.com/.
We regularly grant generous support for areas of global need through Episcopal Relief & Development. At church, we host our annual, fellowship-friendly fundraisers, such as Shrove Tuesday Breakfast for Dinner, St. Patrick’s Day Potato Bar, the Christmas Cookie Bake Sale and our “Earthly Treasures” Rummage Sale. In addition, Epiphany also participates in the annual Crop Walk which helps raise money to alleviate hunger in the Conejo Valley and around the world. Crop Walk funds raised are distributed to MANNA.
To all who have supported our efforts – THANK YOU!!
