Joyful Noise: Boys and Girls in Kindergarten and Grade One
Joyful Noise (formerly “Music for Young Children”)
not currently meeting; enrollment will open again in January 2017
Joyful Noise is a program with a creative approach to music education that includes singing, chanting, creative movement, and playing rhythm instruments, led by Karen James and Carrie Wilcox. Children have fun while learning to make music with repertoire drawn from traditional and folk music. The program is specifically designed for children ages four through six years. If you are interested in enrolling your child(ren), or if you have any questions about this program, please contact Karen James at firstname.lastname@example.org. A registration form is available by request in the music office.
There is a tuition fee for participation in Joyful Noise of $180 for the year. If multiple children from the same family are enrolled, the tuition is reduced for additional siblings to $120. For enrollments after the beginning of the year, tuition is pro-rated. In the event that tuition poses an impediment to a child participating in the program, please contact Jay Wilcox at email@example.com to discuss the possibility of a scholarship.
