Outreach Mission Statement

“In response to the grace and love we have been given in Christ, we seek to serve our neighbors. Our commitment is to provide opportunities for The Church of The Epiphany to reach out locally, nationally and globally so that we may grow, mature and become more fully the people Christ calls us to be. We pledge to be careful, open and willing stewards.”

The church of the Epiphany supports Conjeo Compassion Coalition

On the second Tuesday of the month, Epiphany caters the Conejo Valley Interfaith Community Shelter  meal and shelter program at Calvary Community Church through Harbor House Services. This has seen a surge of families needing this program and currently over a hundred people line up to be served. We encourage you to be a part of this wonderful program by bringing food ready to be served and either stay to help serve or not; food needs to be delivered to Calvary between 6 and 6:15 p.m.  Contact Elizabeth Bryant at (805) 498-4499 for more information.

We are a strong supporter of Harbor House, a local non-profit that provides support and resources for homeless and low income individuals and families in the Conejo Valley.

Epiphany is proud to support the Episcopal World Relief & Development fund and the Los Angeles Episcopal Diocese’s Family Service and Adoption Agency . We host annual, fellowship-friendly fundraisers, such as the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, St. Patrick’s Day Potato Bar, the Christmas Cookie Exchange Sale and the Animal Market Place.  In addition, Epiphany also participates in the annual Crop Walk which helps raise money to alleviate hunger in the Conejo Valley and around the world.

We continue to support MANNA, the Conejo Valley Food Bank. They need non-perishable supermarket items; food, toiletries, diapers, paper towels, detergents. Your gifts are very much appreciated by MANNA’s recipients! Please leave your donations in the basket in the church entry.

Epiphany members sponsor children at the Latin Patriarch School in Palestine. The school is supported by St. Matthew’s Church in Zebebdeh and by Educate 4 Hope, through the diocese of Los Angeles. The cost of one child’s education for a year is $700. Thank you for sending children to school each year!

Epiphany participates in the Conejo Valley Women’s Interfaith Network projects as needs arise. Recent projects have included welcome and new baby baskets for refugee families.

The Church of the Epiphany supports The Episcopal Church in Navajoland by collecting school supplies for distribution to students.
